Hula Hooping for Kids: Hand SpinsMarch 30, 2015 at 6:29 pm
Welcome to Week 2 of our “Hula Hooping for Kids” video series! Today, we’re learning all about vertical hand spins, and we’ll even do the hoop handshake.
We’re releasing a new, kid-friendly hoop dance tutorial every Monday, so be sure to subscribe to our You Tube Channel! That way, we’ll keep you in the loop on all things hoop. Here are some quick tips:
1) Handmade hoops are much easier to master than the plastic toy hoops found in stores.
2) Make sure you have plenty of space for hoop dancing.
3) Sometimes, it takes a little while to learn hoop moves. Be patient with the process and if the hoop falls, see how creative you can be when you pick it up!
4) If you’re smiling, you’re doing it right!
So, grab a friend and get ready to spin up some fun with this week’s hoop dance lesson:
Did you know… By learning the moves in our video series, you’ll be able to follow along with the choreographies featured in our movie! So, join the hoop dance party by picking up your very own copy of “Molly and the Hoola Monsters!”
